Dress up as the characters from the hit anime, Dandadan! This is a pretty wild action-packed anime and you’ll have as much fun dressing up as the characters (especially Grandma Seiko!)

Dress up as Momo Ayase

Dressing up as Momo is pretty easy! Make sure you get those oversized earrings

	Short Brown Wig Momo sports a short brown wig with her bangs done in a very specific way
	Big Oblong Green Earrings She sports a pair of big oblong earrings in a shade of green
	Alien head earrings In some photos, Momo sports a pair of Alien head earrings
	Red Ribbon Bowtie She sports those cute red ribbon bowties we usually see in Japanese anime school uniforms
	Pink V-Neck Sweater She wears a pink v-neck sweater
	Fake Collar You can either wear a white collared shirt underneath the sweater, or just buy a fake detachable collar where you will tie the red ribbon bowtie on
	Navy Blue Pleated Skirt To finish off the schoolgirl look, wear a pleated skirt
	White Slouchy Socks She wears a pair of white slouchy socks
	Loafers And of course, nothing says school uniform more than a pair of loafers

Dress up as Okarun (Takakura Ken)

Okarun’s non-possessed look is very basic so make sure you ask someone to dress up as Momo with you to get the look across
There isn’t an exact wig to mimic Okarun’s, and I’d recommend just using some gel or hairspray to mimic his look. But you can give this one a try. You can also bring an alien magazine for added prop

	Eyeglasses with Oversized Round Frame Wear a pair of glasses, ideally with really big round frames
	Japanese School Uniform Wear a standard black anime school uniform and keep it buttoned
	White Sneakers Wear a pair of white sneakers. This is a cool, slightly dressy pair you can purchase which you can definitely pair with most of your casual looks

Dress up as Okarun (Possessed by Turbo Granny)

The possessed version of Okarun is a bit more fun to wear (though also a bit more complicated)

	White Spiky Wig First, get a big spiky wig
	Fabric Dye Next, use some fabric dye to add red highlights outlines to your wig
	Eyeglasses with Oversized Round Frame Wear a pair of glasses, ideally with really big round frames
	Red Face Paint Using red face paint, draw vertical lines on both sides of your face, drawing it from the forehead toward the center of the eye all the way down to the chin
	Mask with Teeth Wear a black mask with teeth. I found this one, which bears a good enough resemblance to Okarun’s look
	Claw Slippers His feet become almost like claws

Dress up as Seiko Ayase (Grandma)

The moment I saw Grandma’s outfit, I KNEW I had to make a costume guide for it. I mean it’s so incredibly fun!

	White Gray Wig The hair will need some work on your end. Get a very long white wig then tie it up
	Synthetic Wig Hairspray Using copious amounts of synthetic wig hairspray, turn the wig into a coif
	Frankenstein Bride Wig To improvise, you can also get one of these Frankenstein bride wigs which are already exaggeratedly tall.
	White Fabric Dye You would then have to dye it white to give it a nice gray finish. Then using an ordinary red elastic, just tie the top portion like the photo guide above
	Red Frame Eyeglasses Get a pair of eyeglasses with a red frame. You’ll see that on the photos, the top part doesn’t have a frame, just like this pair
	Red Baseball Bat Couldn’t find one with red and silver details. I’m showing a toy baseball bat here so you won’t have to lug around a heavy bat throughout your party
	Varsity Sweater This matches the baseball bat perfectly
	V-neck Sweater Dress I couldn’t find one in yellow and with buttons but this should carry the look across. It also has a deep V-neck like the one Seiko has and in her case, she simply wears a halter-type bra underneath and keeps the look very revealing. She also keeps the dress very short but you can always wear a pair of shorts underneath for extra comfort
	CrissCross Bra She wears a bra with a crisscross style on the front
	White Sandals She ends the outfit with a pair of white sandals
