Presenting… the eligible bachelors of Stardew Valley as of the current update! (Word on the street is we’d have more datable characters on the next update – but still not Gus!) Here are super simple costume guides to nail the look of every bachelor

Dress up as Alex

You need only a few items to complete the sporty guy’s look!

	Short Spiky Brown Wig If you already have short hair to begin with, a bit of gel or hairspray is all you need to make your hair stick out in spikes. Otherwise, you can wear this wig which you’ll probably need to apply spray on as well to make the spikes pop out
	Green and yellow varsity jacket Alex is a sporty guy so I’m guessing his jacket is also a sporty fit like this one. It’s not an exact replica but has a similar vibe and color scheme
	Regular Fit Jeans Wear a basic pair of jeans. I’m guessing he wears a regular fit one, that isn’t too skinny
	White Sneakers For the shoes – wear a super simple pair of sneakers
	Toy Barbell For fun, bring a toy barbell as your additional prop
	Complete Breakfast Another prop idea is to bring one of his most loved gifts – the complete breakfast!

Dress up as Elliott

The bachelor I chose on my very first run! Here’s how to dress up as the poetic bachelor

	Long Brown Wavy Wig It was Elliott’s long, luscious locks that drew me to him – which is why he was the first bachelor I ever chose hehe!
	White button down It’s not that visible, but you can see a pop of white on his avatar (it is also very visible on the older working versions of Elliott). It also makes sense to pair it with the red coat
	Green Cravat I assume he’s wearing a green cravat, because it gives him an even more romantic, old-world feel to him
	Red Coat Continuing with the romantic look, I think this red trench coat really refines the look
	Dark Green Pants Wear a pair of dark green pants with a regular fit
	Red Velvet Blazer Another option is this red blazer if you want a shorter cut. I chose a velvet fabric to lend an extra romantic air to his getup
	Derby Shoes A pair of black dress shoes completes the formal look
	Feather Quill For your props, bring books with you or this feather quill – one of his loved gifts (duck feather) and a perfect tool as a writer

Dress up as Harvey

So on my latest run, hoping I won’t get charged anymore when I faint in the mines but I suppose Harvey’s work ethics still applies to his spouse. Honestly though, Harvey is my personal favorite to date – who wouldn’t like a bachelor who’s both responsible AND adorable? hehe

	Eyebrow and Mustache Kit He sports thick eyebrows and a dark brown mustache
	Short Brown Wig He sports short brown hair
	Eyeglasses A basic pair of framed eyeglasses completes the intellectual look
	White Button Down Shirt He wears a basic button down shirt
	Red Necktie A red necktie gives him a pop of color
	Deep Green Blazer A deep green blazer completes the look. For added detail, you might want to add a few pens on his pocket. I’d assume he’d do that while he’s shifting as a doctor
	Brown Slacks I can definitely see Harvey wearing a pair of brown slacks
	Coffee Mug Coffee is one of Harvey’s loved gifts – which I totally love because it’s soooo easy to acquire and gift it to him. I would bring a mug like this because it has that checkerboard detail which is similar to the pixel image of coffee in Stardew Valley

Dress up as Sam

Sam is the fun-loving, child-like bachelor and all I can say is man, his winter glow-up is insane!

	Spiky Blonde Wig I opted for this wig with exaggerated spikes because of its cartoony feel and its bright yellow shade. I’m pretty sure you can reuse this for another costume (Goku maybe?)
	Blue Hoodie You can either wear a denim jacket or a blue hoodie as you can see the small profile pic seems to suggest a hoodie like back while the sprite shows a more denim like look. Either should be good so I’ll show both! This is the hoodie version
	Denim Jacket And here’s the denim shirt version (keep it unbuttoned). Either gives him a nice laidback look that is perfect for his personality
	Maroon Shirt In the sprite version, he wears a basic maroon top underneath
	Brown Pants His pants are in a brown hue
	Blue Sneakers I’d say he sports a pair of basic blue sneakers, which would make it easier for him to ride the skateboard
	Green Skateboard And finally, the best prop – a green skateboard!

Dress up as Sebastian

Here’s how to dress up as our favorite emo baby!

	Emo Wig Every emo needs his emo hairdo! In the sprite, one of his eyes is covered by his hair so this wig is perfect for that. His hair is a very dark purple shade but black should suffice.
	Purple Dye If you want to add that purple detail, then you can dye your wig using this
	Dark Hoodie The wiki says he sports a dark grey hoodie but it looks black to me. Either should be fine, just keep it dark!
	Dark Slim Jeans A pair of slim fit dark jeans are all you need
	Black Chunky Boots Given that Sebastian owns a motorbike, I’d say he wears a pair of chunky boots like these
	Cigarette Cheapest and easiest prop to bring would be a cigarette though he DOES promise to quit after marriage
	Void Chicken Plush A more fun prop to bring though would be this void chicken which is basically a Sebastian chicken haha!

Dress up as Shane

Ah Shane, the divisive character – either you’re dogging him with pizza, chili, and beer or you steer clear hehe! Personally, Shane is my least favorite to marry because of the mess he makes in the house!

	Short Purple Wig Shane, who I call the “I can fix him phase” bachelor haha. He sports a short purple hairdo.
	Blue Hoodie Wear a blue hoodie and keep it unzipped
	J Fabric Patch If you want extra details on your costume, attach this J on your left chest. You can remove the gold glittery border
	Lime Green Polo Shirt Wear a lime green polo underneath the hooded jacket
	Short Pants In some instances, he wears a pair of short pants
	Blue Chicken plush In the profile pic, he has a white chicken with him, but I think a blue chicken would be that much more special since it’s tied to his 8-heart event.
	Green Sneakers A pair of green sneakers finishes the look. Not a very important part of the outfit – you can just wear any shoes to be honest
