So I started out having reservations about this show because I was afraid Jake Peralta would be this bungling, incompetent cop with a lot of slapstick moves. Turns out he’s a very smart cop with a very childish behavior that makes for great comedy! He has a very easy outfit to put together, the most important of which is a badge hanging on a chain.

Couples – dress up as Jake and Amy

	Black Skinny Necktie SOMETIMES, Jake wears a necktie. As a fun gag, you can tie it around your waist the way he did in episode 1
	Police Badge on Chain Wear this around your neck
	Plaid Shirt Wear a red plaid shirt with finer details like this one.
	Denim Blue Button-down Shirt You can also opt to wear a blue shirt, which he sports in some promotional photos
	Faux Leather Jacket Wear an unbuttoned faux leather jacket in a dark brown shade like this one. Finish the look with a pair of dark jeans and sneakers
	Dark Gray Sneakers Wear a pair of sneakers with a white outsole
